"Quotes" "He shall have dominion also from sea to sea, and from the river unto the ends of the earth." Psalm 72:8 "I am a Canadian, free to speak without fear, free to worship in my own way, free to stand for what I think right, free to oppose what I believe wrong, or free to choose those who shall govern my country. This heritage of freedom I pledge to uphold for myself and all mankind" ~ John George Diefenbaker. A lot of you are probably wondering why I am calling myself "The Old Fart" and have a Homepage called "Welcome to Old Fart Productions" (See link under My Other Blogs and Goodies).

When I started in the field as a 35mm Film Projectionist some of the concession staff {at the last Cinema I worked in } weren't even born yet. In fact back in 2003 I was the oldest member of the staff at the age of 43. In true Ernest Hemingway form, instead of being "The Old Man and the Sea", I became "The Old Fart of the Theatre" to quote one Manager..

And as they say "The Rest Is History"

That Time Again

Just a quick reminder my Friends, at 0200 hrs your time or whenever you go to bed, to move your clock ahead one hour to Daylight Savings Time. Provided your Province, State or Country observes this ritual.

Personally I prefer if we stayed on Standard Time. I like it getting dark when I am ready for bed and having it bright when my day starts. But that's just me.

Everyone enjoy your weekend.

Into Paradise......................May the Angels lead you.

God Bless

Thanks, Bill, I had forgotten all about the tick-tock thing. Sweet dreams!

P.S. Has any one heard from Susan at Stony River? It seems as though Microfiction Monday may be circling the drain after all. I hope not, because what a shame. Maybe her computer is still with the bLiKy-bLiNkY?

Lady ~ Thank you, all the best for you.

Sparkle ~ Glad to have reminded you. Don't know about MfM, it does seem like it is over. From what I understand there is no phone or internet access at home yet.

Thyme will tell my friend.

If Lazarus was able to make a comeback, I guess so can Microfiction Monday. Let's hope.

Hmm. Maybe Susan merely decided to give MM up for Lent. If that's the case, a 41-days Until Microfiction Monday Returns countdown might be in order. <--Yeah! Then, bright and early on Easter morning, as the cave rock-door rolls open, Microfiction Monday will be waiting for us, right next to a neatly folded Christ's shround. We'll all be singing "Jesus Christ Has Risen Today-ay!" yet secretly thanking God that our MM has been restored!

Alleluia!
Have a great week, Bill!

P.S. No blasphemous disrespect intended, because, hey, I'm pretty sure, with all that the Lord put up with during His short stint on Earth, laughter had to be His best medicine! Even now, if I listen closely, I can hear Him yucking it up over me. LOL! (Although He says He's laughing with me, I know better, Jesus. LOLouder!)

Sparkle ~ I don't know for sure about Susan, think it has something to do with no phone or inet at home., I am sure the Good Lord has a sense of humour though , just watch out for any stray lightning bolts that might be aboout.

Di ~ The only nice thing about Daylight Savings Time is it stays darker a bit longer in the morning when you want to sleep in.

Ah yes, the annual rite of stupidity. :)

I hate it so much I just wait until I get up on Sunday mornings to change the clock...after I've been up for a while, so my internal clock won't notice. :)

Leave it alone says the Hubby and I agree.

Otherwise, have a wonderful week!
