A lot of you are probably wondering why I am calling myself "The Old Fart" and have a Homepage called "Welcome to Old Fart Productions" (See link under My Other Blogs and Goodies).

When I started in the field as a 35mm Film Projectionist some of the concession staff {at the last Cinema I worked in } weren't even born yet. In fact back in 2003 I was the oldest member of the staff at the age of 43. In true Ernest Hemingway form, instead of being "The Old Man and the Sea", I became "The Old Fart of the Theatre" to quote one Manager..

And as they say "The Rest Is History"

Microfiction Monday #73

Our Susan over at "Stony River" hosts Microfiction Monday. I thought I'd give it a try and see if I can come up with something. The idea is to use Susan's picture she posts then compose a story up to and including characters, punctuation marks, etc adding up to 140. I believe you can use less but not more. Susan provided a "Convenient Link" {Everyone should have one in a Convenient Pocket} if you need help in attaining that magic number of 140. Whilst at Susan's visit all the other wonderful Entries in the game.

Willie would look at his Grandfather Will's picture and think that someday he'd be that age. He didn't realise how quick it would arrive.

As he looked at his Grandpa's Picture, McCoy thought. "Maybe it is.." His thoughts were disrupted by Nurse Chapel singing "I Kissed a Girl".

Here's the "Song" that disrupted Bones.

I heard the song on the radio today coming back from Shoveling out my Clients. I have three Seniors that I shovel their walks and driveways when it snows. Yes we had a March Snow Fall last night, after it raining all day.

Don't even try to figure out how I got the song and Star Trek combined.

I think it is from Stress and lack of Sleep.

Into Paradise......................May the Angels lead you.

God Bless

A GIFT (<--cLicKy-cLiCkY) to you from Katy Perry and me! Your lips might be in need because of all that cold-weather shoveling you had to do, or perhaps from kissing a girl?! LOL! Katy and I swear by this stuff. LOLouder!

I don't know which is more fun: trying to imagine Nurse Chapel singing or Bones' reaction. :)

Have a good [and improved] week!

So true--the "golden years" arrive so quickly---where does the time go?! "Nurse Chapel singing 'Ikissed a girl'" cracked me up, Bill. Take it easy--maybe you should get someone else to help you clear your senior neighbors' snow. Have a great week!

Sparkle, Thank you for the kind words, it was from the shoveling. Oh, I cannot see the link, something about errors.

Sylvia, Thanks, my mind does work in mysterious ways, that even make me wonder.

Hope, I think it is a bit of both. you have a wondrful week as well.

Pat, They do catch up fast. glad you had a chuckle. Thanks, you have yourself a wonderful week.

Old age has just caught up a bit further with me thanks to this recent bout of flu. For awhile I thought I was down for the count!

Quilly, Glad that you are feeling better, the flu usually does that, gets one down where all one can do is rest. You take care of you.

I'm with you about time slipping by Bill-and even though your second made me laugh, number one is my favorite!

Enjoyed both. Though I think Mrs Roddenberry would have been more likely to sing that song as Lwaxana Troi :-)

Bill;

I'm sorry to be late this week.
Was away so I didn't post but I'm trying to comment today on some.

Life sure does move fast when you're not noticing, Golden years are fast approaching!

I sure don't know how you find the stuff that you do, particularly on Star Trek. Good job Bill!

Thank you for letting me be your friend on FB!

Good one, Bill. Great take on this week's MM. And it was nice of you to shovel out your neighbours. Still lots of snow on Canada's east coast, and I can hardly wait for it to melt...please tell me it will happen soon.
